     PS: if you're interested but deterred by the "book 13 in the Laundry Files" blurb, be advised that "A Conventional Boy" is (a) a stand-alone story, and (b) short: you don't need to have read other books in the series first.

     @marcusboden That is the publication date, yes. (Publishers Weekly is a trade mag, and its reviews are pitched for librarians and buyers at bookstores deciding what to stock in the next month or so.)
