     @vriska @shibao my bad dude, I didn't think you would be this childish about an actual serious issue to go as far as to subtoot me over it.
     
     Like I said before, I didn't say it's exactly the same as the states or Canada, but you seem to imply that just because the conditions are better outside of the imperial core, that Saipan is not technically a U.S territory. I'm pretty sure Samoans and Puerto Ricans would have plenty to say about wanting sovereignty. I don't know why you're so extremely defensive over it given that it's just a simple fact. Your insistence that there's no form of exploitation is questionable.
     
     There are tons of burgers just like you immigrating to other countries or "territories" and then bragging about how cheap the rent is and such. There's a reason the locals frown on them.

     I dont know how things are in new zealand. there are no non chamorro/carolinians in the government here to be mad at for the 40something politicians who exist here

     there are plenty of places on earth that fuck over their native populations in unimaginable ways. this is not one of them.

     @vriska @shibao I mean but some natives can run for office, if I recall there is a Maori woman in New Zealand gov rn, she still calls out the gov because it's still a settler nation.
     
     Not sure why you are subposting me (I assume?), just because I pointed out that Saipan is technically a commonwealth. Why was it so easy for you to move there as a settler with no connection to the land or the community there?
