In 2015, I got laid off from Hootsuite. That was a tough pill to swallow.

I thought that was going to be the most important project I ever worked on. Suddenly it was gone, and I didn’t know what else I could do that would ever be significant.

But nearly a decade later, you know what? I’ve done well for myself.

I work for myself, I make whatever I want, and I spend time with family.
