i don't think being even more isolated and aloof from the masses isn't the way to go, obviously prioritizing individual health and safety is a must

you do actually have a responsibility to explain to people why fascism is bad, that is an aspect of the struggle you can't just punch people all the time, sometimes you gotta take the time to explain things to people because in many cases you are literally the only person who is ever going to articulate a challenge to the dominant ideology.

the fact that you think that you don't have any obligation to do this, that you are just inherently morally superior because of the random series of events that led you to become a leftist, that's a problem and weakness that is very explicitly exploited by fascists.

i'm not talking about "compromise" no, people believe propaganda because they live in a totalitarian propaganda system, the fact you managed to break out of it doesn't mean you are so good, you could have just as easily been one of them
