I've mentioned the kind of folks you can find if you start a #filmphotography club. Here's an example, from meeting before last: the theme was stereo, so Nick made a stereoscope out of an aerial photography scanner and fabricated the support bracket you see in the picture. I seem to remember that he made the stereo pair by shifting the camera between exposures.
