     On the other hand, I want to stay grounded, be with friends and comrades, figure out what is next. I know defense will be a big part of our world for the next four years. What else? This election was a resounding defeat for neoliberalism, voters said no to the economic regime from the turn of the century. But what Trump is offering instead is neanderthalism, a return to a mythic glory for white persons.

     I feel totally gutted. On the one hand, I feel totally alienated from all the red in this nation, all the little red arrows on the map that moved to the right. I want to run, to escape, to go away.
