I continue to be slobberknocked by how closely the two sides’ messaging mirror each other while the background info is at opposite ends of the pole. Today, one of the most avid Trump supporters I know posted: “We are going to choose hope over fear.” I look at that and I can’t get it to work in my brain. Hope over fear??? How does that even track? The only explanation I can come up with is our brains are wired in completely different ways.
