   There is a hotel that I frequent that has a deck with a fantastic view of a glacier.. OR rather it did have a fantastic view of a glacier. That glacier which had been there for over 200 thousand years is now gone... Also apropos of nothing Florida has banned the words climate change... Other jurisdictions are contemplating doing the same... For those who are not demented and stupid banning the words climate change will not stop climate change.... Good luck to us all.

     @Ulrich_the_elder I have read it already, honestly, I liked it more than I thought I would. But the book came out in 2020, four years later, we are worse off.

     Unfortunately, I'm not sure writing, or reading books is helping us trend away from suicide. I don't think there is an education gap, the direction for the global economy is held by people very aware of impending ecosystem collapse, and their response has been to build fortifications and arm police officers who protect their property
