   @patpro @joel did Mosh ever fix the auditability issue? At Cisco we had a requirement that every Mosh "connection" be properly logged in the security/audit logs, so I wrote a patch for Mosh and sent it upstream like 10 years ago and they rejected it or at least balked at it, so we just told all our engineers that Mosh was banned until it could meet our compliance requirements and blocked it at the firewall

     @joel you can’t tunnel/stream: it’s basically a keystroke transport. So lots of ubiquitous SSH uses are unavailable with mosh.

     If #mosh is that great, why isn’t it more broadly used? Nor integrated by default is OSes/Distributions? What are the Cons of that software?
