     @Radical_EgoCom @herag @oneoveralpha If you're in California, which has ~5 million extra votes for the democrats than for the republicans and considering the electoral college system, winner takes all

     Now, if 5 million californians *alone* can change their vote without changing the results of the election, imagine if they did

     Swing states already get more national investment and stuff because their vote is not guaranteed.

     It would, however, force the democrats to make their position more left lest they risk losing election after election.

     Communism is an ideology of no compromise unless necessary, which isn't the case in deep states
