    Listen here you little shits. If you are an American Citizen you need to VOTE for Harris on Election Day, which is November 5th.

    Don’t @ me about Genocide or Bernie or whatever other reason you’ve conjured to not vote. This is an either or choice. Either we get camps and purges and god knows what other hellish outcomes, or we don’t.

    This is your chance to take part in something that matters. Vote.

      @neoliberalgenesisevangelion

      According to Marxism-Leninism, before the abolition of the state completely, a socialist state (the dictatorship of the proletariat) will exist in-between capitalism and communism (no state) as a means to create the conditions necessary for people to be able to live without a state. The amount of time this would take is unknown, but it is theorized by Marxist-Leninists that such a transitional state will be required for statelessness to become a reality. 1/2

      @marioivargas @Slyence genuine question

      How do anarchists/far leftists/whatever envision infrastructure in a post-governmental society

      Like do you expect the internet to still exist??? Or grocery stores or literally anything else

      The fall of government = the fall of global consumer economy = the fall of modern society = we're all back to offgrid homesteading with no internet or leisure

      As for infrastructure in the absence of the state, it would basically work the same way as it does now, but with the absence of a state, but as mentioned before, the people of this stateless society will already be capable of working together in the absence of a state. 2/2

      @Radical_EgoCom how would a dictatorship end with the peaceful relinquishment of state power? Sounds like there's nothing transitional about it.

      It turns out that state power is attractive and an effective means of organizing society. I'd rather its ideological basis rest in the free market, liberal democracy than any other system of government.

      @neoliberalgenesisevangelion

      I'm just going to answer your question. The dictatorship of the proletariat, which is a class dictatorship, has the primary goals of 1. Defending the revolution from counter-revolution and imperialism, 2. Eliminating bourgeois power through collectivization, and 3. Promoting socialist and communist education and ideals. This phase of class dictatorship will exist for an indeterminate amount of time until... 1/2

      ...the threats of reactionism and class antagonisms have been eliminated, or at least reduced to a small enough size to where they are no longer a serious threat, and socialist and communist ideals are the norm, in which case the class dictatorship will lose its relevancy and eventually cease to exist, creating a classless and stateless society where the means of production are collectively owned and controlled, i.e., communism. 2/2
