     @claralistensprechen3rd Yeah, I sometimes raise an eyebrow over some of the positions that Mike Papantonio adopts... but he is a staunch defender of American consumers so I mostly let it slide. Let's remember that everyone's understanding and perception of RT back in the days was quite different from what it evolved to when we started to understand that it was really just a Kremlin propaganda outfit engaged on Active Measures campaigns. I'm not making excuses, but there is some context needed.

     @br00t4c When I saw that Ring of Fire hashtag I just had to add a comment that the Ring of Fire program began life as an Air America Radio show with RFKjr as one of the founding members. When AAR went belly-up, it moved to Russia Today as a TV program. RFKjr's ties to Moscow are tight....but so were those of another AAR alum, now deceased--Ed Schultz.

     @br00t4c An additional thing to keep in mind that The Ring of Fire is STILL on RT TODAY. You're quite right about how RT started out, but then Putin happened. And they remain on RT nonetheless.
