   One reason I like yesterday's "2 types of software" meme is that if you remove the obvious jokes and leave only the somewhat serious ones, it makes it even more clear to me just how ubiquitous the lens pattern is

     @chrisamaphone @zanzi Lenses were invented for databases; I know or strongly suspect that they are useful for structuring compilers, game engines, and raytracers. Static site generators I would guess are not lensy because it's a 1-way process
