   @schroeder I always remember lua by a math student I knew who wanted to get into game programming, having heard lua was an elegant embedded language that just does what you say to do

   I guess not remembering that the rest of that Perlisism was "when someone says this, give them a lollipop"

   On the other hand, I see in lispgamejam that the lua power play is to implement lisp in lua and then use lisp instead, which shows an enviable sense of irony. So maybe they just wanted that lollipop.
