The Trump of 2017 was a wildcard. A surprise. And for better and for worse, he ran the presidency the way he runs his “business” — ineptly.

But #Project2025 is a different beast. Trump in a second term would be a cudgel. And I don’t think people are acknowledging what an earth without at least one superpower aimed roughly at freedom would be like.

Tuesday could truly be a turning point for the human race. Here’s to the keepers of the spirit.
