Why is there so much unnecessary dialogue in modern games and media? All I find myself wanting is for them to do more showing, a lot less telling, and shut the fuck up.
It is completely unnecessary to state the obvious every time something happens. These faggot western (((millennial writers))) treat characters like babies who need constant narration, affirmation, and petty conflict resolution.

This started long ago with intros and tutorials, around the xbox/ps2 era. It became more apparent as I aged and had less time to play. I may get a half hour here or there and I just want to kill shit. I don't want a bunch of prompts and long videos I can't skip.
