   Plumbers and people good at construction stuff: how much length is required for a proper fit for 2" PVC going into a street elbow? Can't get a straight answer and don't want to gorf this cut and have to buy a bunch more crap.

     I used to know but if you have a tape, and a marker you could just fit it, mark it, and measure to the mark.

     Sometimes we forget the obvious. I know I do, also remember to dry fit before going in wet.
