     @lain I watched Borat recently, and I honestly think it's a comedy masterpiece. Sacha Baron Cohen makes these really absurd, childish, stupid comedy movies that I loved when I was young, but watching them as an adult, there’s actual meaning behind what he’s doing. There’s some intelligence in there for someone to chew on, and it's more substantial than the poop joke cringe humor would lead you to believe.

     @lain same as people watching isekai. some may consider it fucking stupid but some think of the genre as a masterpiece of storytelling. tbqf i don't see anything worthy of greatest-of-all-time status for Frieren, and yet it still holds that position. people's opinions differ, i guess
