I realize that the fediverse wouldn’t exist if people didn’t feel the need to commune with “strangers”. Yet you gotta think that without the physicality of it, it probably wouldn’t work.

Although I’ve come to realize that communing with you all, even if you are but an avatar and a quip, a video or telling us all you are “down bad”, that somehow, in someway that’s all we need.
We don’t need a face, a location, a creed, a religion, a job, a voice. The mere presence of words on the screen and an identifier is all we need; isn’t that strange?
