Alfred M. Szmidt (amszmidt@mastodon.social)'s status on Friday, 01-Nov-2024 15:21:45 JST Alfred M. Szmidt @iank Lisp Machine (yes, it is Free Software); mainly just a discussion mailing list for bug reports and such. I'd prefer not using nongnu.org; one I just only need a mailing list and Savannah is intended for hosting projects. Two, I do not want to have to handle the beyond annoying nitpicking of getting something hosted.

Ian Kelling (iank@hostux.social)'s status on Friday, 01-Nov-2024 15:25:19 JST Ian Kelling @amszmidt But I could just create the lists right now, no nits, and so what if you are not using the project hosting part.

Alfred M. Szmidt (amszmidt@mastodon.social)'s status on Friday, 01-Nov-2024 15:28:05 JST Alfred M. Szmidt @iank I know you can do it, but historically we have rejected projects that only want to hosts lists since the whole idea behind Savannah was to host whole projects. So it doesn't feel fair to jump hoops this way.
Do we need a Savannah project to make a list?
