     @Lupi I actually skipped VII entirely. First time I ever played it was about 5 years ago.

     @Humpleupagus @Lupi My favourite was V, which was originally only released in Japan. But got bootleg english translations when emulators became a thing.

     I played it when it came out. It was the right game at the time. Playing it in a different era might not have the same impact.
