   I am still not over #Omnivore being bought over by eleven labs. Is Obsidian web clipper any good?

     @liztai Agree. It seriously sucks. I think I am done looking for a replacement. I’ll use obsidian to manually add and store links

     @liztai I'm annoyed too. I really like Omnivore for what is is. I enjoyed the Read Aloud feature but did not think it was central to my experience. I was unclear from the mail about whether Omnivore is going away or if we would need to move everything to a new app.

     I don't know what Omnivore does, so not sure if this is a replacement.

     I use MarkDownload which is an extension on browsers, in my case Vivaldi. I highlight part of a document or take the whole tab into Obsidian with a click. I use it on my computer and don't do any syncing between devices.

     @liztai not sure if this helps but I capture into Readwise Reader, and then sync highlights with Obsidian. Works well for me

     @ajlewis2 this may not 100% replace it for me but I can always turn these articles into epub and transfer it to my reader so it's still good
