   @burgerbecky I agree. So let me share with you a happy story that maybe I couldn't except for social media.

   My kid was playing the video game Calico and completed the main quest. At the end, there's a long list of supporters -- I guess they were backers for a kickstarter, maybe? (You probably see where this is going.) She called me over to celebrate the game ending, and I saw *your name* on it and I gasped and got to tell her you're one of my heroes.

     Telegram is mostly scams contacting me. YouTube is 90% scam ads. Discord, full of fake “Artists”. X, cesspool of Nazis. Social media in all forms has gone down the drain

     Try newpipe or freetube to avoid the trash ads on yt.
