   Sometimes I get someone replying to a three month old Mastodon post to like, complain about my tone or something, and for a moment it makes me understand people who auto delete all social media posts older than a month

     @kboyd usually I quite like necroposting but the thing is the shape of mastodon means the longer since a reply the further from your social context the reader is and so the quality/relevance or replies drops steadily
