   I'm about to say something that is really, really, for some reason that I just don't understand, controversial in the Linux world: I really like Snaps. Now, excuse me while I go and hide from the flamethrowers.

   But before you start using those flamethrowers, I want to tell you that I like Flatpaks, too. I know, weird, right? How can I possibly like and use them both?

     @cmccullough I like them when I don’t need to interact with other apps. In Firefox, for example, I have to use the .deb for 1Password to work. In others they break my yubikey. The lost goes on. When they work, though, they’re fine. I just hope I. Ever have to teach anyone non technical how to manage their apps on a modern Linux workstation

     @cmccullough I do not like both. They are hiding the technology from the user. I prefer aptitude. Those who are not interested may use Mac.
