I think I finally understand why people like iOS widgets. I've just made a new home screen with some on and it's handy to have info there rather than digging through an app. I'm not sure about the Smart Stack though. How can that know what I want to see better than I do?

So for example if you’re working and you always check your public transport app at a particular time every day, or more to the point check the public transport app widget in the stack at a certain time every weekday, it would learn that and start to put it already on that by the time you look at it. If you don’t have anything regular that you do, it makes it less likely that it will know what to put up in front of you.
