   i tried pencil. it seemed meh. not sure how to make custom components for it though?
   
   i think in penpot you do it by selecting some stuff and saving it as a component. i didn't try it very hard because the docker install had broken file uploads / images.
   
   i may give pencil about 30-60 minutes to see if its documented how to make custom components anywhere. otherwise might try penpot again.
   
   i'm not super keen on webshit but they both run in the browser now so its sort of whatever
