@RustyBertrand @nonlinear the whole thing about hedge funds is the awesome plan to make private equity do a backflip for people too stupid to understand stuff like the finite lens of capital. You get all these super cool things like burger places that suddenly taste like frozen cardboard and unaffordable rent and pay toilets at hospitals and then suddenly kaboom, like an entire sector of the economy detonates like an over stuffed burrito and nobody gets bailed out because it was a bunch of industries that still no one really understands represented by a bunch of fintech bros that dont have a home address.
