@rher @LostShakerOfSalt The reason it's a hard business is because if something mechincal happens to a vehicle, you obviously can't rent it, and those vehicle are always driven hard. On top of that it's an expensive piece of equipment, so no-one wants to keep a huge amount of extra around, especially if your rental rate fluxuates.

  @Bunsen pretty much my whole thought process. I was hoping I was wrong, but nah. Nobody cares about cars. That's why I have less sympathy for people who complain about the cost of maintenance. Just check your fluids a couple times a week and you'll be head and shoulders above 90% of car owners. @LostShakerOfSalt @rher @sickburnbro
