   @celesteh This hostility got worse towards autistic nerds, and the stereotype of the autistic nerd was used to belittle and insult all nerds. And RMS clearly is an autistic nerd.

   This is the way to make enemies. Once a group succeeded to make someone an enemy, it's going to last, and peace negotiations are difficult.

   IMHO, your side has to apologize, and instead you demand resignation. You just reinforce the hostility. This gets you nowhere.

     @celesteh If he was wrong 40 years ago, that was the time to correct him. Now, he's doing that thing for 40 years, and not gonna change himself.

     Yes, it's 40 years ago he started this. I was a teenager back then. Women made very clear that they weren't interested in nerds, in this nerd stuff, and that we nerds can fuck off and form our male-only community. And we did.
