Lucian K. Truscott asks a good question: why is Donald Trump ratcheting up the profane language now as he "turns the hate knob to 11" in his campaign? As Truscott notes, Friday, he used the word "sh-t" to describe the vice-president, Kamala Harris. Then he got his crowd jubilantly chanting that word the next day in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.

And in the vein of breaking institutions, rules, the law itself — and jubilantly so (see the preceding postings in the thread) — there's Elon Musk engaging in a flagrant, illegal vote-buying scheme on behalf of Trump.
Obviously what they want to do and what gives their puppetmaster Putin great delight is to sh-t all over democratic norms to show that democracy means nothing at all.

Let me rephrase that: Trump got a crowd of ADULT Americans, a large percentage of whom we know from solid sources are white Christians, chanting the word "sh-t" jubilantly and applying it to the vice-president.
He then told a lewd story about Arnold Palmer to the same crowd, causing those same adults to guffaw with delight.
Why is he behaving this way, Truscott asks?
