     @m0xee@social.librem.one @theorytoe@ak.kyaruc.moe You are totally correct. I actually control Transmission via my VPN and download the files on my server. That's what my real setup looks like.

     Why don't you just control Transmission or whatever you use remotely and transfer files with sftp to your laptop when downloading is done? 🤔

     @theorytoe@ak.kyaruc.moe My ISP is based and doesn't actually give out private information when copyright holders ask who an IP address belongs to so they can't sue you.
