     @Komnene let me just warn you that it's a slog where the theme is that EVERYTHING IS TERRIBLE and it never gets better, you keep seeing bad things happen to the guy who you're supposed to root for and you keep seeing good things happen to the bad guy, but at least the artwork and combat and gore and the setting and atmosphere are fucking cool and im glad that at least those things were taken and put into games like dark souls and elden ring
     i feel like elden ring in general is basically the closest to a souls-like berserk game

     @lina yeah I've seen elden ring compared to it aesthetically a lot. normally I really like bleak themes where the characters suffer a lot provided there's substance to it but we'll see

     honestly i more prefer the setting and the world in berserk as the main character rather than guts and griffith, i would be so fucking down for an exploration of this fucked up, weird fucking world where at one hand you have normal medieval life and on another hand you have lovecraftian monstrosities and satanic daemons practically hiding amongst humans
