     @david the last time I saw him on here he put "don't/care" as his pronouns on Mastodon and people started fediblocking him and he got down in the dirt sobbing and begging for forgiveness.

     note that I didn't say apologizing is weak. you should apologize if people that you care about and who care about you are hurt by something you did, not when people use it to flex on you.

     @sun@shitposter.world I wouldn't beg for forgiveness cause forgiveness is nothing really. Most of the time u won't get to be back in their life anyway. It has only worked for me once or twice :p

     @sun@shitposter.world it's not weak, it's just owning up to something. Forgiveness is something someone can choose to do if they'd like to.
     Also apologising is something that someone can stop u doing too if they don't wanna listen to it.
