Because from what I've seen, the vast majority of people that want him to lose that aren't progressives have a cartoon vision of how collapse would work and are using it for a substitute for doing actual hard work.

@boeswilligkeit Hard work is doing things like building durable communities where you have bonds of trust established over time, that the feds can't come in and break up.

@sickburnbro still have yet to hear what the definition of “hard work” you’ve mentioned is.
also I wouldn’t be upset if trump won, it just means we have to commit to attempt to solve our problems within the system (e.g. a takeover of the gop). it’s not a bad thing necessarily, just different and less likely to be effective imo.
