   Wow, I messed up by missing a routine form in a journal submission because it was unclear if it applied to my situation, but they sent a super kind chill note inviting me to resubmit it instead of having a reviewer say my entire piece was garbage and should be thrown out because I missed a small piece of bureaucracy that had nothing to do with content: the difference between psych and software journals right there.

     @grimalkina Which ones are nicer, the psychology or the software reviewers? My guess is the software reviewers are the ones that would insist on the paperwork.
