     @John-Pleroma The thing to remember is you're trading one problem for another problem, you won't have a perfect time switching away from Windows. But they're not problems that perpetuate your serfdom to Microsoft and generally it's not as hard to switch as it used to be.

     @John-Pleroma you can often install it on a windows laptop. sometimes you have to do some stupid unlocking ritual.

     @sun can you even install ubuntu on laptops? I thought they usually came with MS or Mac by default
