   Single moms face an enormous struggle with a teenage boy.

   The dynamic can result in passive aggressive behavior on both sides.

   The mother knows the young man has____, but she can’t prove it.

   Sometimes she walks quietly and bursts in suddenly so he won’t hear her.

   The mother, realizing she has lost this battle of hide and seek, retaliates by vacuuming the house at 3am and running it by her son’s door.

   The next day in the kitchen at breakfast time, mother and son pretend nothing happened.
