   @christianselig thankfully voicemails were never popular in my country. Most carriers make it free for whoever calls you to leave one, but in order for you to listen to them you have to pay which makes it useless.

     Pro-tip: If you're paying for "Visual Voicemail" from your carrier, iOS 17 and later has "Live Voicemail" for free which works the same provided your phone is on and has service, so I just saved $120/year from two lines!
