But he produces videos regularly that look nice, he has high verbal abilities even if he says wrong things, he isn't completely incompetent so he's convincing. so of course the combination of all these attributes will make you a successful youtuber, not like, being right about stuff.
@sun@burner I also enjoy prime's videos occasionally. He's personable and also (mostly) not retarded, and he's brought a number of interesting articles to my attention I wouldn't have otherwise read (I'm totally unplugged from the HN nerd hype cycle these days).
@sun@burner Same, I was recommended primagen by the algorithm when I was watching a few rust videos on youtube (video is my least favorite format for the kind of info I needed but it let me have my hands, arms, and eyes mostly free to wrangle the kids while it played)
@ademan@burner I am basically on a mission to find the toolset for frontend development that are relatively uncomplicated and don't make me want to kill myself like React.
Watching his videos (or at least reading the titles) is a useful way to keep track of the onslaught of buzzwords and shitty development frameworks that arise on a weekly basis. Definitely a hipster doofus.
