   The brutality of Israel's genocide on Gaza cannot be overstated - snipers repeatedly shooting children in the head, hundreds of journalists targeted and killed, water and power and sanitation facilities systematically destroyed, hospitals and schools and universities systematically destroyed, millions intentionally forced to flee multiple times and live in tents which are then targeted and bombed, millions intentionally denied food and medical aid. all of this is documented.

     Americans are ALWAYS told we're on the side of democracy and yet Palestinians are not allowed to vote in Israeli elections, even as they were held in the "open air prison" of apartheid Gaza and the West Bank. Additionally, Netanyahu has been trying to change the structure of Israel's government to dismantle judicial checks to his own power, even though he stands indicted on serious fraud and corruption charges. None of this is about democracy

     Most Americans do not know that since a Netanyahu-aligned assassin shot Yitzhak Rabin in 1995 and killed the two state compromise proffered in the Oslo Accords, the far right has controlled the Israeli government.

     Most Americans do not know that Itamar Ben-Gvir, a convicted violent racist provocateur, threatened Rabin's life days before he was murdered. Ben-Gvir has served as Israel's Minister of National Security since 2022.

     Netanyahu and Ben-Gvir want only a single expanded ethnostate

     Many Americans have no idea that the Palestinians now enduring ethnic cleansing in Gaza are the families who the first Israelis forced out of their homes and communities and into new refugee camps in Gaza. The Israeli settlers then moved into the Palestinian's vacated homes and stole belongings they left behind. This wasn't peaceful. There was bombing and pogroms in some Palestinian villages. Nakba. Gazans have no place to go now because their ancestral homes became Israeli cities.
