   Why can't I just have everyone initiate conversations with me all the time? Why do I sometimes have to be the one to make the first step with strangers? Life is so cruel to me :ferntired:

     it's a balance between wanting to share things and not wanting to bother/bore people, and I think it's give and take, in that there should be "initiation" on both sides to a somewhat equal degree
