Did a second light switch with a Sonoff MINIR4 with a custom Tasmota build.

Opened this one up, discovered two ground wires connected to the ground pole, three brown wires, one at the bottom of the switch, two at the top on the terminal you're supposed to use for a "two way" switch ("three way" in American), I guess because the switch was installed upside down.

    No neutral.

I'd switch off the breaker already, so fished around a bit, and found the neutral. Was barely able to pull it into reach. Removed about 2cm of insulation and spliced another wire to it.

The MINIR4 wouldn't fit in the box with the switch, so I wired the live in, two live out, and neutral to it, used some random wire of a different color to connect it to the switch, and just put it into the cavity.

      Working great!

Garage has a manual "garage door" at the front and a standard door at the back, which is where the switch is. Going in there at night from the front has been a Problem, but now I can turn the lights on/off both from my phone or the switch.

Will fit a dash button in there to control the lights as well.

@morb that one wasn't too bad - standard wire colors used correctly, no mystery wires

@ryanc here's hoping you don't find any other fouled AC wiring mysteries
