   not reversing makes more sense in a singaporean context where anglicized names are often part of the name e.g. Harry Lee Kuan Yew
   
   Family name is in the right order if truncated to “Harry Lee” or “Lee Kuan Yew”

     meanwhile, indonesian names typically don’t have surnames at all, and that’s a fun thing when it comes to bureaucracy(tm)

     chinese names don’t get reversed when written in latin, but japanese names get reversed :akko_scream:
