Despite state bans and restrictions that followed the Supreme Court’s decision overturning Roe v. Wade,
the number of U.S. abortions continues to climb
— with abortion pills now accounting for nearly two-thirds of them.

Yet the very uneven post-Roe landscapemakes navigating the legality of a medication abortion difficult.
A June report from the Repro Legal Helpline, a project supporting abortion access, found that 💥about half of adult callers said they were unsure if medication abortion was available or prohibited in their state.
