or at least thats how some weird technology is modelling it. not sure how i feel about that one.-

Anytime somebody says "looky look, I made a tech thing that emulates a brain" they are 100% wrong.
Granted, the tech thing can "think" within a certain competence domain, but it isn't doing it the way a brain does it. Not even close. -

at least the ones i read about this week were looking at more realistic learning (ex. protein traces instead of backprop) and some tests with messing with neuroplasticity parameters to make things
i haven't seen them experimenting with lockout groups for some reason, but eh.
unfortunately with this being out in the woods its basically frontier research just testing putting them together again
