The United States does not exist to promote human flourishing. It was founded upon the goal of extinguishing it in the pursuit of profit and that program has not shifted one bit since. The US exists to subsume all of humanity's most redeemable qualities beneath our species' most base instincts.

If you want better things. If you want humans to exist, not just survive, but exist on a functional and hospitable planet, the goals of US empire are fundamentally incompatible with your project.
