     @Humpleupagus Weirdest is how due to fax still being a thing, you actually can transmit what's essentially dial-up over VoIP, but IIRC it's a bit special.

     @Humpleupagus @lanodan Imagine doing something like this, but every layer of conversion is to mask merely a PtP chat of only text but over super fast internet. like, [fast layer between both sources] Voipcall is started, dialup handshakes etc and boom, next is it's all in some decoder ring bullshit, then keyed morse code and then enigma encoding, base64 and some other whacky encoding from some slavic abandoned programming scheme from long ago... just for a casual convo with no security threats or nothing, just people wanting other people out of their fucking business.
