   Isn't it funny how whenever you hear about a hip new indie game by a cool new studio set up by former devs from $GameDevMegaCorp it's always approximately two to four cis white men?

     And trust me, I know ex-AAA workers who are queer or women or POC or some combination of the above who set up indie studios.

     But oddly enough, they just don't seem to get the column inches.

     Maybe they simply weren't senior enough.

     Perhaps their ideas are just not that interesting.

     There must be an explanation.

     (this post was a rhetorical device, but yes, that also happens a great deal; it's all part of the same shitty tapestry as my complaint in post # 2)

     Not really, Minorities get it much worse and just leave thier passion destroyed.
