I just got kicked out of (partial) social benefits. The benefit payments will stop at the end of this month. The provider states as reason that I earn too much. Problem is: It was the provider himself who first artificially increased my chargeable income – in order for me not to be liable to repayment demands at the end of the period of allocation (a good move, in my opinion) – and later used this inflated income as basis for declaring that by law I have to be kicked out of all benefit payments. There is the possibility to apply for rent subsidies with a different municipal agency, but processing this application will take several months. In the meantime I can decide whether to pay the rent or to eat. I love this caricature of a functioning society.
